The camera inspires me to capture moments from the world around me, to discover the unnoticed and to immortalise it, whereas the software I use is only a means to collect the pieces in a new virtual and artistic vision. I am a dreamer and I reveal my soul with the help of my lenses and artistic compositions. Living my dream, I tell stories about the incredible beauty of life.

Bio

I am born and still live in the little town of Gabrovo in Bulgaria. This is where I find peace and inspiration to create. I am surrounded by nature - it is clean, calm, and stress-free. What provokes me to create is the wonderful scenery and the opportunity to observe different states of nature at any time of the day.

I've been creating ever since I can remember. Over the years, my creative impulses have brought me to many different directions but since 1986 I aspire to reveal the beauty in all its shapes and forms throug the lens of my camera. It all comes from my appreciation and love of the beautiful, nature, and love.

How does time affect your art?

I am fortunate to know and have worked with conventional photographic techniques and processes. Back in the days they were unknown to many and required skill and creativity to achieve the desired results. Now I work with a digital techniques that no more rely on the “laboratory work” of the photographer's work. Computer programs provide enormous opportunities in the field of manipulated/collage photography, and facilitate creative expression.

I love travelling. I love flowers and nature. I love old-age, ancient, and beautiful creations, crafted with love, skill, and attention to detail. I love places forgotten by people and by God, which have preserved their unique spirit and romanticism. I find a deep desire to combine those things and bring them back to new life. This is what inspires me to create.
